Got the Job... and made Soup

I found out last night that I got the job, and turned in my two weeks notice this morning. I'm sad about leaving for a lot of reasons, I'm really going to miss a lot of my co-workers but more than that I'm going to miss the discounted services. It would be nice if I could get one last massage in before I go, but that doesn't feel ethical since I'm leaving and all.

Last week Owen had a bad ear infection so that was hard and he's still eternity-teething. Which basically means we've had bad attitudes, swollen gums and no teeth since January. Fun stuff. Today we had a check up on his ear and I made the Doc look at Owen's gums because he has four really swollen and dark purple spots almost like welts on the back of his gums and it just looks nasty. But he said not all kids get that but some do, and sometimes they evenget cists that will burst when the teeth finally come through. Hopefully the teeth come quick. We are tired!

I've had a good God day, I feel rejuvinated and excited. It turns out that my quitting work really seems to have blessed a few of my co-workers too. They are getting more hours and word has it a raise or two. So Praise God! He used something good for me, and potentially bad for them but God was able to work it out so it's good for everyone! YEAH! Abundantly more than I asked for.

Then I made soup. It smells delicious. It's chicken, zuchinni, summer squash, corn, potatoes, salt, pepper, garlic, and basil in my crockpot and it smells yum.

Take Two

Ok, so now that I've got my Blog set up, and I've peeked at a few others, I think I have a decent idea as to what I'm doing. Nonesense rambling, that I can do.

Where to start, today is the longest day ever because I have a job interview tonight and I feel helpless, like there is nothing I can do to prepare for it because it's all in God's hands. Did you know that it is really hard to hand over ALL of OUR control to God? It is. Really hard. But really, if he doesn't want me there I guess I don't want to be there, right?

This morning I have already gone to Target and walked around aimlessly with a crying baby, taken Owen to the park, gone to good old Blu Water and had a brow wax, and put Owen down for a much needed nap.

Here are a few pictures from when Dad and I took O'dub to the park on Friday, we had a really good time and he was REALLY mad when it was time to go!

New to this
